Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American performer and actress. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. She is of Polish descent (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent within the industry of entertainment in her early years. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell's mother established her with an agent when she was 13 and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. Also, Bell began taking private acting classes. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. She was a part of Dorothy in the school production in The Wizard of Oz. Following graduation, Bell moved to New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she learned about musical theatre. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene was cut and the credits are all that display her. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell made an appearance as a character in the Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
